U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, a special commission under U.S. Congress, holds a hearing on Rule by Law: China’s Increasingly Global Legal Reach from 9:30 a.m. ET on May 4 in 3 panels.

Panel I: The CCP’s Promotion of Rule by Law (9:40–11:10 a.m.), panelists include:

  • Moritz Rudolf, research scholar in law and fellow at Yale Law School’s Paul Tsai China Center
  • Vivienne Bath, professor of Chinese & international business law and associate director international of the Centre for Asian and Pacific Law, Sydney Law School
