Man accused of robbing South Carolina store using Nintendo Duck Hunt pistol | US News

A man has been arrested over the armed robbery of a convenience store in which police said a Nintendo video game controller was used to threaten a shop worker into handing over $300 (£240).

David Joseph Dalesandro, 25, was detained following the incident at a Kwik Stop store in Sharon, South Carolina, at around 5.45pm on Tuesday.

Witnesses told police the perpetrator came into the store wearing a wig, mask and a hoodie sweatshirt.

The person demanded cash, showing the cashier a gun in his waistband – which turned out to be a spray-painted Nintendo Duck Hunt game pistol, according to York County Sheriff’s Office.
