Roe v Wade one year on | World News

Saturday 24 June marks a year since the US Supreme Court overruled Roe v Wade, ending a federal right to abortion access.

Fourteen states now have a full ban on abortions, with no exception for rape or incest.

The overturning was highly controversial with more than 100 global health organisations including the Birth Medical Association describing it is as a “catastrophic blow to the lives of millions of women, girls and pregnant people”.

On the Sky News Daily, host Niall Paterson is joined by our US correspondent Marth Kelner to explore the impact of Roe v Wade’s overturning in Tennessee, and how it remains an important topic in the battle.
