Head of Democratic Convention Accused of Diverting Funds towards Hillary
Minyon Moore, the incoming chair of the 2024 Democratic National Convention, was previously accused by federal prosecutors of directing funds to an illegal operation to support Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid in 2008. Moore’s involvement in the off-the-books Clinton operation was revealed in the 2014 indictment of businessman Jeffrey Thompson. Although Moore was never charged in the case, her selection to lead the convention has raised concerns about election integrity, particularly amidst bipartisan warnings over voter fraud and election interference. Moore has expressed her excitement about the appointment and is confident in the success of the convention.
