Donald Trump’s lawyers and the prosecutor’s office in Fulton County, Georgia are expected to negotiate the terms of the bond package for the former president after he was indicted in a 2020 election case. Trump and 18 others were indicted on felony charges related to interfering with the election. Defendants have until August 25 to voluntarily turn themselves in, and it is expected that all defendants will be booked at the Rice Street Jail. Trump’s attorneys and the prosecutor’s team are expected to meet before Trump surrenders. There is a proposal to start the trial on March 4.
