Trump, on his Truth Social platform, stated that he wouldn’t attend the debate, citing his high poll numbers and record as reasons. The debate will include candidates such as Ron DeSantis, Rick Scott, Mike Pence, Doug Burgum, Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy. Trump may use the time of the debate to have an interview with Tucker Carlson, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
