Less Than Half of New York Democrats Support Biden’s Re-Nomination: Siena Poll
Less than half of New York Democrats support the renomination of President Joe Biden for the 2024 presidential election, according to a recent poll. Only 47% of respondents said the Democratic Party should pick Biden, while 46% believed the party should choose someone else. The remaining 7% were unsure. Among those who preferred a different candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Vice President Kamala Harris were the top choices. The poll also showed that 45% of respondents believed Biden should face an impeachment inquiry, with 46% disagreeing and 9% unsure. The survey was conducted among 803 registered New York voters in August 2023.
