Trump Declares Innocence and Skips Arrangement for Georgia Election Case
Former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty and waived arraignment in the case accusing him of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election in Georgia. Trump and 18 others were charged in a 41-count indictment that alleges they conspired to subvert the will of Georgia voters. Trump previously turned himself in at the Fulton County Jail and became the first former president to have a mug shot taken. Several others charged in the indictment have also waived arraignment.
