Judge in Georgia Rules Against District Attorney Willis in Trump Trial



Fulton County Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis in Georgia requested that the court impose restrictions on former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants due to their request for a speedy trial. However, Superior Court of Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee ruled against Willis, stating that his standard scheduling will control the proceedings. The judge confirmed that all hearings and the trial for Trump will be livestreamed on the court’s YouTube channel. Trump pleaded not guilty and sought to separate his case from the other defendants. Willis reportedly has evidence that clears some Republicans targeted in the case.
