In Conversation with Newsmax, Rep. Waltz Expresses Disappointment Over Biden’s Actions Towards Gold Star Families
Rep. Mike Waltz, a Republican from Florida, criticized President Joe Biden’s treatment of the gold star families who lost loved ones in a suicide bomber attack in Afghanistan two years ago. Waltz called Biden’s response “insulting” and a “stab in the heart.” The families are demanding transparency and answers regarding the attack but have been “stonewalled” by the administration. Waltz also expressed concern for the safety of over 85,000 Afghan allies who helped the United States and are now being hunted down by the Taliban. Additionally, he mentioned that ISIS and al-Qaida are rebuilding a terrorist state in Afghanistan with billions of dollars’ worth of American-made armor, weapons, and equipment.
