Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman Urges Support for Israel, Warns of Consequences if ‘Evil Doers’ Prevail

A Greek diner owner in Long Island has bravely supported Israel, despite facing objections and boycotts from anti-Israel protests. Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman emphasized to Newsmax that Israel is on the side of good in the fight against evil.

“It’s gratifying to see that most Americans are standing with Israel,” said Blakeman during an interview on Friday’s episode of “Rob Schmitt Tonight” guest-hosted by Kimberly Guilfoyle. “They understand that Israel is an important ally and that an attack on Israel is a precursor to an attack on America.”

Blakeman stated that Americans cannot support Hamas terrorists, as they must be stopped by Israel’s incursion into Gaza.

“We’re talking about people who are baby killers and rapists, and they’re pure evil, just like al-Qaida was,” Blakeman told Guilfoyle, emphasizing that most Americans recognize this is a fight between good and evil that must be won.

Blakeman’s county is adjacent to Huntington, New York, where the Golden Globe Diner has received an outpouring of support for owner Peter Tsadilas’ display of posters depicting the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. This display has become controversial amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.

“I want to commend Peter and people like Peter who have the courage to stand up for what’s right, because if we don’t stand up for what’s right, the evil doers will prevail,” Blakeman said. “This would be disastrous for Israel, world peace, and America.”

Blakeman also warned that the war in the Middle East is affecting America due to open-border policies allowing unvetted illegal migrants. He urged more counties to reject the sanctuary city ideology embraced by some Democrats, as Nassau County has done.

“Nassau County is not a sanctuary county,” Blakeman declared. “We believe here in Nassau County that our borders should be sealed. If we are going to have immigrants, they should go through a valid guest-worker program where they are properly vetted.”

Blakeman clarified that Nassau County’s policies are not anti-immigration, but they do reject mass illegal immigration.

“We welcome people into America, but they need to be vetted,” he explained. “We need to know who’s coming in, and it has to be done the right way. In Nassau County, we don’t want the issues that other communities throughout the United States are facing.”

Blakeman’s comments came in response to reports of an illegal migrant from Jordan, a country openly supportive of radical Islamism and anti-American sentiment, being arrested in Texas for studying how to build bombs.

“This is what happens when you have open borders and you’re not checking who is entering the country,” Blakeman concluded.
