Trump’s Super Tuesday Speech: ‘Unity Will Come with Success for America’

Former President Donald Trump celebrated his impressive performance on Super Tuesday while votes were still being counted, speaking at a lively campaign event at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday night.

“They call it Super Tuesday for a reason; this is a big one,” Trump remarked as he took the stage at around 10:16 p.m. ET. His speech was broadcast live in full on Newsmax and Newsmax2.

“This was an incredible night and an incredible day.”

Trump secured victories in California, Texas, Alabama, Colorado, Maine, Oklahoma, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Minnesota, and Massachusetts, with Vermont narrowly going to former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley. Results from Utah and Alaska were still pending on the West Coast.

Prior to the closing of polls in California at 11 p.m. ET, Trump made a plea for unity among the Republican Party and the nation in his speech at Mar-a-Lago.

“Success will bring unity to our country,” Trump expressed, thanking his family and campaign team for their support.

“I read an article yesterday that called this one of the best-run campaigns ever,” Trump noted. “That’s pretty good, right? That’s impressive.

“And we have no choice because Nov. 5 is just around the corner. Nov. 5 will go down as the most important day in our country’s history.”

Trump emphasized his efforts to keep America and the world out of conflicts while criticizing President Joe Biden as the “worst president in our country’s history” and dismissing critics who perceive his personality as confrontational.

Despite Haley’s victory in Vermont, Trump secured wins in states like Virginia and Maine that were considered strongholds for Haley due to their moderate voter demographic.

While Trump has not officially become the presumptive nominee until more states have voted later this month, he has continued to dominate the primaries.

Meanwhile, Haley was monitoring election results in Charleston, South Carolina, where she resides. Her campaign website does not show any upcoming events, but her aides stated that the mood at her watch party was “jubilant.”

Trump’s victory party at Mar-a-Lago featured supporters, staff, and notable personalities like rapper Forgiato Blow and former Rep. Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C. The crowd erupted in celebration as Trump’s win in North Carolina was announced.

Having defeated numerous Republican challengers, Trump now faces only Haley. She has shown strong fundraising and secured her first primary win in Washington, D.C. Trump mocked Haley as the “crowned queen of the swamp.”

In his brief victory speech, Trump highlighted the urgency of winning the election for the sake of the country’s future.

This speech showcased a more serious and business-focused tone from Trump, as noted by former Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., on Newsmax.
