DeSantis accuses Haley of attempting to attract non-Republicans on Newsmax
According to Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., Nikki Haley’s defeat on Super Tuesday was expected, as she failed to secure the votes of Republicans in her presidential campaign.
Haley announced the end of her campaign following former President Donald Trump’s victory in 14 states on Tuesday night.
DeSantis commented during an appearance on “Eric Bolling The Balance” that Haley’s strategy of appealing mainly to non-Republicans was not viable for winning the Republican nomination.
Focusing on the current situation with President Biden, DeSantis stated that Republicans are facing a President who is not up to the job. Meanwhile, Trump expressed optimism at a campaign speech at Mar-a-Lago, emphasizing that success will bring unity to the country.
