Senator Graham strongly criticizes Georgia ruling on DA Willis as ‘Nonsensical’

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., criticized the ruling of a Fulton County (Ga.) judge that allowed District Attorney Fani Willis to prosecute the 2020 election case against former President Donald Trump and 14 co-defendants despite the controversial relationship between Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

In a statement, Graham expressed his disappointment with the decision, calling it nonsensical and highlighting the political implications of the case.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee ordered Wade to step down from the case due to the inappropriate relationship with Willis, but Graham believed that both prosecutors should have been removed to ensure fairness and impartiality.

Trump attorney Steven Sadow also criticized the ruling, pointing out alleged prosecutorial misconduct by Willis and Wade and questioning the integrity of the prosecution team.

Graham expressed his hope that either the Georgia State Senate or the state’s Attorney General would investigate the matter further.
