Research Shows Democrats Hold More Positive Views on Electric Vehicles Compared to Republicans
An American Muscle survey of 1,005 Americans reveals that nearly half of the population has a favorable opinion regarding the recent changes proposed by the Biden administration and the Environmental Protection Agency in terms of electric vehicles.
Reports from February suggest that the Biden administration is planning to relax the annual requirements until 2030 to reduce tailpipe emissions and boost electric vehicle sales.
The survey conducted by American Muscle indicates that 46% of Americans view this change positively.
Democrats display a significantly higher favorability towards the revised proposal, with 61% viewing it positively compared to 13% negatively. In contrast, only 29% of Republicans have a positive view, while 40% hold a negative opinion.
The survey also suggests that Americans foresee all new vehicle production being 100% electric by 2111.
