JD Vance and Bernie Moreno assert that Ohio voters prioritize America over all else, in exclusive interview with Newsmax

Ohio voters are expected to back “America First” candidate Bernie Moreno in Tuesday’s GOP primary and avoid sending another RINO (Republican in Name Only) to the U.S. Senate, according to Sen. JD Vance and businessman Moreno in an interview with Newsmax.

Vance and Moreno, both supporters of former President Donald Trump, appeared on “Eric Bolling The Balance” on Monday night, just hours before Ohio’s primary that will determine the Republican candidate to face Democrat Sen. Sherrod Brown in November.

“This is America first territory,” Moreno said. “Matt Dolan would be the most liberal member of the Republican delegation in D.C. We already have Mitt Romney retiring, so we don’t need his replacement to be there. We need someone who will support the ‘America First’ agenda.”

Bolling asked Vance about Ohio Republicans like Gov. Mike DeWine and former Gov. John Kasich who have not aligned with the Trump movement.

“A lot of these guys want to go back to the old Liz Cheney Republican party, but the voters want someone who represents the ‘America First’ ideals,” Vance explained.

Vance expressed confidence in Ohio voters making the right choice by selecting Moreno as the Republican standard-bearer in the upcoming election.

The conversation also touched on Trump’s recent rally in Ohio, where he used the term “bloodbath” in reference to the auto industry. Vance and Moreno defended Trump’s statement, emphasizing the importance of protecting American jobs.
