Lewandowski Asks Newsmax: Could Letitia James Force Trump’s Tenants Out?

New York Attorney General Letitia James has signaled her readiness to seize former President Donald Trump’s assets if he fails to present a $454 million bond in his civil fraud lawsuit. Trump’s former advisor, Corey Lewandowski, stated on Newsmax that James could accomplish this because many of Trump’s assets are owned solely by him.

“Donald Trump is so wealthy that many of these properties are owned outright by him,” Lewandowski shared on Newsmax’s “Sunday Agenda.” “A majority of people are unaware that properties like Mar-a-Lago have no mortgages. Donald Trump has amassed a massive portfolio and established a multibillion-dollar corporation.”

Furthermore, several of Trump’s properties, such as Trump Tower in New York, have multiple tenants. “The question is, will the attorney general step in and become the landlord?” he questioned.

“Will she go in, shut the doors, and evict all these tenants?”

Additionally, Lewandowski mentioned that Trump could not find help from companies to meet the required bond since such a high-level bond is unavailable in the United States.

“What we’re witnessing is a political prosecution of Donald Trump for a crime he hasn’t been convicted of, essentially challenging the valuation of his properties,” Lewandowski commented.

Despite the legal battles, Trump’s popularity is rising rather than declining, Lewandowski added.

“The American people stand with him more, which terrifies the Biden administration and mainstream media,” Lewandowski stated. “They are aware that Donald Trump will reclaim the presidency.”

Moreover, Lewandowski called for Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis to be disbarred and sanctioned following her testimony involving her connection with a special prosecutor. “She swore under oath that all transactions with her partner were in cash,” he highlighted.
