Senator Tim Scott tells Newsmax that Robert F. Kennedy would attract votes away from Biden.
Senator Tim Scott from South Carolina is confident that independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will take votes away from the Democrats, potentially benefiting former President Donald Trump’s campaign in the upcoming election in November.
Scott pointed out that Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, who is the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, may attract more support from Democrats than Republicans. He discussed this with Newsmax’s “Eric Bolling The Balance” show.
However, Scott believes that Trump already has a winning strategy in place.
“We need four more years of Donald Trump, and having a third-party candidate on the ballot will draw votes away from the Democrats,” Scott explained. “This is why the Democrats are running ads in Detroit to keep Black voters loyal to the party, but it’s not necessarily effective.”
Scott praised Trump’s 50-state strategy, emphasizing the importance of campaigning in various parts of the country to appeal to diverse voters who value hard work.
Additionally, Scott criticized Kennedy for choosing Shanahan as his running mate, describing her as a “dyed-in-the-wool liberal” who advocates for wealth redistribution.
