Michigan Police Group Proudly Endorses Trump
During his visit to Grand Rapids on Tuesday, former President Trump was endorsed by the Police Officers Association of Michigan, where he spoke to law enforcement members.
Jim Tignanelli, President of the Police Officers Association of Michigan, expressed their endorsement, stating, “We were proud to do it in 2020, and we’re here in 2024. On behalf of the 12,000 law enforcement personnel represented by our association, we endorse you for President of the United States.”
Tignanelli stressed the importance of support for law enforcement, saying, “Police officers need to know they have someone backing them instead of pushing them backwards. This support will help restore honor to their job, and our officers will continue to serve the people.”
In response, former President Trump expressed gratitude for the endorsement, promising to make them proud.
During his speech, Trump also offered condolences to the family of New York City police officer Jonathan Diller, who was recently killed in the line of duty. He met with the family to show his support and appreciation.
