Lawsuit Claims Biden Administration Provided $1.5B in Funding that Aided Hamas and Other Terror Groups

A lawsuit filed by Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, and victims of terror attacks in Israel alleges that the Biden administration “unlawfully” provided $1.5 billion in aid to Gaza and West Bank organizations that have supported Hamas and other terror groups.

According to the New York Post, the lawsuit claims that President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken have been aware for years that the U.S. aid is aiding Hamas in various terror activities.

Despite these warnings, the Biden administration has continued to provide funding to organizations in Gaza and the West Bank, including the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

The lawsuit claims that the funding is in violation of the Taylor Force Act signed by former President Donald Trump, which prohibits U.S. funding from going to the Palestinian Authority. The aid, intended for social services, education, and infrastructure, has allegedly been used to support terrorism.

Represented by American First Legal, Jackson filed the lawsuit for violating the Taylor Force Act. The complaint was amended to include new emails obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests, revealing the administration’s attempts to undermine Israel.

According to Reed Rubenstein, a lawyer for America First, the Biden administration knowingly increased funding to empower Palestinians despite the risks of increased terror attacks.

On Oct. 9, a federal judge denied a motion to dismiss the case, two days after a Hamas attack killed an estimated 1,200 people, including 33 Americans.

Jackson criticized the administration for funding Hamas and increasing instability in the Middle East. He vowed to continue fighting against these actions.

In an interview with Newsmax, Jackson accused the Biden administration of funding Hamas for years and demanded transparency in revealing the extent of this support.
