Biden Leads Trump in Fundraising Race
The New York Times reported on Saturday that President Joe Biden’s campaign has a significant financial advantage over former President Donald Trump’s campaign.
Trump, who funded his own campaign in 2016 and 2024, is facing financial challenges due to numerous lawsuits, which critics liken to a “banana republic.”
As per The Times, Biden raised $43.8 million in March 2024 and spent $29.2 million, while Trump raised $15.3 million and spent $4 million.
The report stated, “Mr. Biden’s campaign had $85.5 million on hand at the end of March, a significant increase from the previous month. In contrast, Mr. Trump had less than half that amount at the end of February.”
