Democrats Preparing for Possible Trump Vice Presidential Nominees

There is speculation among Democratic groups about who Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump will choose as his running mate for the upcoming election. One group has criticized the entire list of potential picks as “extremist.”

Emily’s List recently released its annual “on notice” list of 14 vice presidential candidates, highlighting the “extreme anti-abortion agenda” of each potential pick.

Meanwhile, the Senate Majority PAC sent out an email survey to donors, asking them to select from 11 VP potentials who they would like to see debate Vice President Kamala Harris in the fall, as reported by the Washington Examiner.

The Emily’s List slate includes figures such as Sen. Tim Scott, Rep. Elise Stefanik, Gov. Kristi Noem, Sen. Marco Rubio, Gov. Ron DeSantis, and others. The group’s president, Jessica Mackler, emphasized their opposition to the extreme anti-abortion agenda of these potential picks.

On the other hand, the Senate Majority PAC listed candidates like Gov. Greg Abbott, former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, and Sen. JD Vance in their survey to donors.
