Health Canada Official Reveals Pfizer Failed to Disclose SV40 Sequence in Covid Shots
A senior Health Canada official reveals that pharmaceutical company Pfizer deliberately chose not to inform regulators about the presence of a DNA sequence from the Simian Virus 40 (SV40) in its mRNA COVID-19 vaccine.
This revelation comes from a series of emails exchanged between officials from key drug regulatory bodies, including Health Canada, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the European Medicines Agency (EMA). The information was obtained through an access-to-information request.
“Pfizer chose not to disclose this information to EMA, FDA, or HC during their initial or subsequent submissions,” wrote Dr. Smith in the email.
Dr. Smith mentioned that this information had already been made public in April 2023 through a pre-print study by U.S. scientist Kevin McKernan.
Concerns were raised about the levels of DNA found in the mRNA shots exceeding regulatory thresholds, leading to questions from various agencies.
Despite downplaying the urgency of the SV40 issue, Dr. Smith expressed concerns about potential negative impacts on public confidence in the fall 2023 vaccination campaign.
