On Wednesday, Johnson said college campuses have been taken over by radical extreme ideology.

Johnson addressed the growing number of anti-Israel protests across the nation. He pointed out that students at the school were openly chanting “Death to America” and were siding with Hamas terrorists.

As he spoke, agitators could be heard trying to disrupt his speech.

Johnson didn’t hold back and called them pro-Hamas supporters, adding “this has to stop.”

Johnson also said he met with the University’s President, Minouche Shafik, and called on her to resign if she cannot immediately bring order to this chaos.

Representative Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) accused Speaker Johnson of stirring hate during his speech at Columbia University.

During an interview on Wednesday, Omar said it was not surprising that Johnson incited anger and hate. She claimed that he endangered the lives of young people who were at the encampment at the school.

Omar claimed that the house speaker and other lawmakers are just putting on a show.

Omar has been outspoken against the war in Israel and has called for a cease-fire in the conflict.
