Rabbi Novak urges Newsmax to report on Columbia University’s actions and calls for an end to the madness.

Rabbi Marianne Novak told Newsmax on Friday that her son has been facing “harassment” on the campus of Columbia University amidst the ongoing pro-Palestinian protests by students.

Last week, students at Columbia University initiated a protest encampment to show support for Palestine and demand divestment from Israel and ending arms sales. More than 100 individuals were arrested by NYPD officers for trespassing due to the encampment.

During an interview on “Wake Up America,” Novak expressed that her son, a junior at Columbia, has been experiencing chaos during his time on campus, making it difficult for him to attend classes and causing fear among Jewish students to speak up.

She mentioned taking her son to Israel for Passover to escape the chaos on campus.

Discussing the police response to the protests and Mayor Eric Adams’ reluctance to involve the National Guard, Novak expressed faith in the New York City Police Department to handle the situation effectively without escalating tensions.

She emphasized the need for Columbia University to take necessary actions to address the protests and prevent further disruptions on campus.
