Using Military Force, Trump Promises to Remove Illegal Immigrants from the Country

Former President Donald Trump stated that he would deploy the National Guard or other military forces to deport millions of illegal migrants if he is re-elected to the White House.

In an exclusive interview with Time magazine, Trump discussed his plans to address the escalating migrant crisis under President Joe Biden.

Trump expressed his willingness to construct migrant detention camps, resume building a border wall, and reinstate policies like “Remain in Mexico” and Title 42.

These emergency measures would be justified by the increase in fentanyl smuggling and child trafficking into the country, according to Trump advisers.

If elected, Trump plans to fund the border wall using military budget allocations without congressional approval, as reported by Time.

The major initiative would involve mass deportation of over 11 million undocumented migrants, primarily relying on the National Guard for execution.

Trump mentioned that he would consider using other military forces if needed. He also suggested that the Posse Comitatus Act, which restricts military force against civilians, would not apply in this scenario since the individuals are not legally in the country.

Local police would be asked to assist in deportation efforts, with refusal resulting in the denial of funding, Trump added.

Tom Homan, a Trump adviser and former acting head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, emphasized the necessity of deporting individuals without exception.

In addition to immigration measures, Trump is considering legislation for border security and extending his 2017 tax cuts as part of a second-term agenda.

A potential rematch between Trump and Biden in the November election seems likely, with a recent CNN poll showing Trump leading by 6 percentage points.
