Rep. Burchett speaks to Newsmax about the instigators of ‘Credit Card Hippies’

Rep. Tim Burchett stated on Newsmax Sunday that the protestors seen at universities across the nation are not typical 60s protesters but are instead “credit card hippies” backed by wealthy individuals and influenced by “professional instigators.”

Burchett, a Republican from Tennessee, mentioned that the sudden appearance of tents and supplies for the protestors indicates the involvement of familiar figures in such activities. He emphasized the role of ultra-liberal billionaire influencers who hold Marxist views in fueling these protests.

Additionally, Burchett criticized tenured ultra-liberal professors for promoting anti-Semitic beliefs among the protestors, shaping their thinking in a negative way.

Despite the concerning nature of these protests, Burchett pointed out that these individuals are also future voters and potential public office candidates, urging Americans to take notice and get involved in addressing the situation.

The congressman expressed worries about innocent individuals being harmed or killed due to the escalating tensions at these demonstrations and stressed the importance of maintaining peace while also respecting constitutional rights.

Burchett voiced his concerns about protestors inadvertently serving the interests of Hamas, stating that their ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel and possibly the United States.

Regarding the Hamas-Israel ceasefire talks, Burchett criticized the administration’s handling of the situation, suggesting a more hands-off approach and letting Israel handle its own affairs.

Finally, Burchett discussed the rapid growth of NEWSMAX as a cable news channel in America and provided information on how viewers can access their programming through various platforms.
