At least three people were killed and more than a dozen others were injured during a shooting in Alabama over the weekend.

Police said about 1,000 people were attending a May Day celebration in Stockton late on Saturday night when gunfire rang out.
“According to witnesses, the event was peaceful until an argument took place, which led to at least one subject shooting multiple rounds into the large crowd, said Capt. Andre Reid of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
At least 15 others were injured during the incident. Officials have yet to announce any arrests and police believe there may have been more shooters.
Stockton only has a population of about 400 people, but witnesses said the May Day celebration has been bringing the community together since 1970.
“They ruined something that’s been going on for years,” said witness Douglas Bolden.
“You had kids lost out here. Kids running in the woods. People running for their life,” Bolden told WALA-TV. “There is no reason to be shooting. It’s not that bad. Whatever they had, it wasn’t that bad for you to come up here around all these folks and start shooting. It didn’t make sense. It didn’t make sense at all.”
Police are asking the public to come forward with evidence, including video footage or anyone willing to identify the offenders.
“This is a tragic event that touches many lives in our community. We are working very hard to bring this case to a resolution, but we cannot make arrests or successfully prosecute the offenders without help,” BCSO said in a statement.
