Trump is 6 Points Ahead of Biden in Latest Harvard Poll
According to a Harvard-Harris survey released on Monday, former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden nationally by six points in a hypothetical head-to-head race. The survey showed Trump at 49% and Biden at 43%, with 8% of respondents undecided.
After undecided voters were asked to choose a candidate they leaned toward, Trump’s lead increased to 53% to 47% compared to April. Trump had the support of 95% of GOP voters, with one in 10 Democrats also backing him. Biden was supported by 91% of Democrats and 5% of Republicans.
Other key findings from the survey include: 69% of participants have made up their minds on who they’ll vote for, 46% said Biden is mentally fit, while 54% had doubts, and 55% believe Trump should be convicted of crimes. Additionally, 79% want Biden and Trump to debate each other, and 63% think the debates will be informative.
The survey had a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
