Hunter Biden’s emails reveal how his father’s 2013 trip to China was utilized for leverage.

Emails exchanged between Hunter Biden and his business associate, Devon Archer, as part of a 2015-2016 federal investigation revealed that agents were looking into how they utilized Joe Biden’s trip to China in 2013 and his meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, according to the House Oversight Committee and Rep. James Comer, R-Ky.

On Friday, the Oversight Committee shared on X an email exchange between Hunter Biden and Archer, where Hunter expressed his belief that his father and Xi Jinping had a strong connection, based on the length of their meeting.

The email thread from December 2013 reads as follows:

ARCHER: “Did you end up meeting Jonathan (Li)?”

HUNTER: “Yes- and they got to meet Dad. All very good. Talk later.”

ARCHER: “great! have a good day over there.”

HUNTER: “Dinner w/ Xi was pretty amazing. They (Xi and JRB) were supposed to spend 2hrs together. It stretched to 7hrs. I think they are in love with each other. They all most kissed on departure”

The president, however, denied any discussion about business matters with his son, stating on the 2019 campaign trail that he had not engaged in such conversations, as mentioned in the committee’s X post.

“This is another example of the same formula demonstrated through @GOPoversight’s investigation into the Biden Family’s influence-peddling schemes,” Comer said on X, while sharing the committee’s findings. “Hunter Biden sets up meetings, Joe Biden attends them at Hunter’s behest, & substantial payments follow.”

In 2013, during his time as vice president, Joe Biden visited China as part of a larger Asia trip that included meetings with key leaders in Japan and South Korea to address various issues.

Hunter Biden confirmed in the emails that he facilitated connections between his associates in China and his father following the meeting with Xi Jinping.

These communications were just a small portion of the 3.3 million pages of bank records, emails, and recordings obtained by the FBI, IRS, and SEC during their investigation into a bond scheme involving a Native American tribe from 2015-2016, according to Just the News.

Although Hunter Biden was not charged in connection with the investigation, it provided federal agents access to his records, communications, and financial information.

The Oversight Committee has recently acquired this evidence to be used in its impeachment inquiry against President Biden.

“Joe Biden’s interest in forging a close relationship with President Xi was likely influenced by the promise of financial gain for his family through state-affiliated companies,” Comer told Just the News.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., who spearheaded early investigations into the Biden family’s business ties, expressed suspicions that the FBI and DOJ shielded Hunter Biden from prosecution in the Indian fraud case to protect him and his father, hinting at corruption dating back to 2013.

The Wall Street Journal reported in 2019 that Biden, Li, and Archer signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint venture, BHR Partners, in November 2013, just a month before Joe Biden’s visit to China.

By 2019, the venture had invested over $2.5 billion in automotive, energy, and mining projects on behalf of its investors, as detailed in the Journal article.
