Jill Biden accuses Trump of attacking language-challenged Jen Psaki’s memory and more

Reflections on misleading information and perilous beliefs

The statement:

“[Donald Trump] can’t construct a coherent sentence.”

— Jill Biden, Wednesday

We think: Seriously? Is the first lady engaged in a game of “I Know You Are But What Am I”?

Elderly Joe is a global joke for his garbled sentences, unclear language, jumbled statements he interrupts with “well, anyway” and substantial blunders.

His team regularly alters transcripts of speeches he messes up (a recent one had nine distinct errors).

And the sentences he does manage to “put together” are often nonsensical, like when he pledged to build a railway across the Indian Ocean.

Or when he outright lies, asserting inflation was 9% when he assumed office (it was 1.4%). No wonder special counsel Robert Hur deemed him too senile to stand trial.

The tweet:

We think: President Biden’s former press secretary may have been discussing claims that Team Trump paid off the National Enquirer to hide stories, but she conveniently forgets the most significant suppression of a political story in history.

This refers to how the Biden campaign persuaded the media to conceal The Post’s October 2020 explosive expose on incriminating evidence found on Hunter Biden’s laptop — right before the election.

The report:

Israel Showing No Sign of Changing Its Stand On Rafah / Global Outrage at Attack That Ignited Camp

— The New York Times, Tuesday

We think: The Gray Lady criticizes Israel for an airstrike that caused a fire at a Gazan refugee camp, resulting in numerous deaths.

However, the bombs struck a compound not near any tents; it is likely that the fire was caused by explosions of Hamas weapons nearby.

Moreover, the newspaper seems to believe it’s newsworthy that Israel refuses to stop its battle against Hamas despite demands from the Times and discredited organizations like the International Court of Justice. The level of arrogance is astonishing.

The assertion:

“[Donald Trump] wanted to use tear gas on you while you peacefully protested George Floyd’s murder.”

President Biden, Wednesday

We think: Losing support from black voters, Biden has resorted to blatant falsehoods in an attempt to win them over.

His speech in Philadelphia about the alleged risks they faced from Donald Trump is a clear example.

But the reality? Philadelphia’s “peaceful” protests after Floyd’s death in May 2020 resulted in over a dozen stores being looted or vandalized, damage to an iconic statue, arson at a Starbucks and several police vehicles, attacking police officers with projectiles, and more than a dozen officers being injured.

Oh, and many cities did utilize tear gas during that violent summer. (Seemingly, not enough.)
