Survey: RFK Jr. Poses a Potential Challenge for Trump in Battleground States

Is Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent candidate for president, able to prevent Donald Trump from returning to the White House?

Recent polling data from Mainstreet Research, PolComb Lab, and Florida Atlantic University indicates that Trump holds a slight lead over President Joe Biden in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in head-to-head matchups. However, when Kennedy is included in the polls, Biden takes the lead.

It is important to note that Kennedy has not yet secured a spot on the ballot in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

In Pennsylvania, Trump leads Biden 45% to 43% in a head-to-head matchup, but Biden leads Trump 41% to 39% when Kennedy is included and receives 8% support in a three-way poll.

In Wisconsin, Trump leads Biden 41% to 40% in a head-to-head matchup, while Biden leads Trump 38% to 31% when Kennedy is included and receives 13% support in a three-way poll.

In Michigan, Trump and Biden are tied at 45% in a head-to-head matchup, Biden leads Trump 41% to 39% when Kennedy is included and gets 11% support in a three-way poll.

Kennedy is currently on the ballot in Utah, South Carolina, Michigan, California, Delaware, Oklahoma, Hawaii, and Texas. He has also gathered enough signatures for ballot access in New Hampshire, Nevada, North Carolina, Idaho, Nebraska, Iowa, Ohio, New Jersey, and New York, according to the campaign.

Nationally, Kennedy is receiving 10% support in the average of five-way polls, as reported by RealClearPolitics.

The survey was conducted among 2,068 voters in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan from May 30-31, with a margin of error of 3.5%.
