The politicians engaged in heated debates over topics such as D-Day, support for war veterans, immigration, and the state of the NHS.

Nigel Farage from Reform UK emerged as the winner of the BBC’s seven-party debate on Friday night, according to a snap viewer poll.

The lineup included Penny Mordaunt, Angela Rayner, Daisy Cooper, Stephen Flynn, Rhun ap Iorwerth, Carla Denyer, and Mr. Farage.

During the debate, the politicians clashed over various issues, including D-Day, support for war veterans, immigration, and the state of the NHS.

A poll conducted by researchers More In Common revealed that 25% of participants believed Mr. Farage won the debate, with 47% of Conservative voters from 2019 supporting him.

Angela Rayner received 19% of the votes, while 14% thought there was no clear winner. Only 7% of respondents believed Ms. Mordaunt won the debate.

Mr. Flynn criticized the right wing in British politics and emphasized the need to promote the economy, public services, and migration.

Mr. Farage focused on immigration and crime during the debate, highlighting concerns about societal decline in law and order.

In his closing statement, Mr. Farage urged voters to “join the revolt.”
