Juror No. 10: Hunter Biden Should Not Be Sent to Prison

One of the jurors who voted to convict Hunter Biden told CNN he doesn’t believe he should be imprisoned.

Biden, aged 54, was found guilty by the jurors of lying to a federally licensed gun dealer, providing false information on the application by denying drug use, and possessing the gun illegally for 11 days. The jury in Wilmington, Delaware, deliberated for approximately three hours over two days.

The juror, identified as Juror No. 10, clarified that politics did not influence their deliberations.

“It was solely about Hunter,” the juror stated.

Juror No. 10 mentioned that at the beginning of deliberations, there was a 6-6 deadlock before reaching a unanimous decision to convict Biden the following day.

The juror expressed sympathy towards Biden’s struggles with drug addiction in the past but noted that it was not a focal point during the jury deliberations on the son of President Joe Biden.

“It was a very unfortunate situation, not because he was being convicted of these offenses but because of how his life had unfolded,” Juror No. 10 remarked. “We based our decision on the evidence presented. Hunter’s lifestyle was not a topic of discussion. It was truly disheartening.”

The juror believed that Biden knowingly purchased a gun while aware of his drug addiction, thus lying on his background check form.

According to the juror, the Biden family was not a topic of discussion during the deliberations.

“President Biden did not play a significant role in my decision-making process,” the juror clarified. “His name was mentioned only once during the trial. We focused on the facts presented to us.”

The juror stated that Naomi Biden, Hunter’s daughter, testifying did not impact his decision, but he disagreed with the defense’s decision to have her testify.

“That was a grave error,” the juror expressed.

During their deliberations, jurors did not discuss sentencing but the juror personally feels that Biden does not deserve to be incarcerated.
