AG Garland Accused by Mike Davis of Shielding ‘Mentally Unwell Leader’

Mike Davis, the founder of the Article III Project, told Newsmax on Thursday that the tapes of President Joe Biden speaking with special counsel Robert Hur must be damaging if Attorney General Merrick Garland is refusing to release them.

Davis accused Garland of engaging in a political cover-up to protect Biden, claiming that turning over transcripts of the conversation waived privilege, but now the administration is withholding the tapes.

The House recently voted to hold Garland in contempt for his refusal to release the tapes.

Davis also supported the decision to have Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and lead prosecutor Matthew Colangelo testify before Congress about the case against former President Donald Trump.

According to Davis, the case against Trump was initially passed over by previous prosecutors before Bragg decided to pursue charges. Colangelo, who previously worked in the Department of Justice, now leads the case against Trump.

Trump was convicted of 34 felony charges related to allegations of trying to influence the 2016 election by categorizing a payment to Michael Cohen as a “legal expense.”
