Turner Accuses Biden Policy of Ignoring Terror Threats

House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Turner, R-Ohio, is blaming the administration’s policies for a potential terrorist threat from illegal migrants who entered through the southern border.

Turner’s comments come after FBI Director Christopher Wray’s statement on the highest level of possible terrorist threat, as reported by CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday.

“The administration’s policies directly contribute to threats to Americans,” he told host Margaret Brennan. “We have concrete evidence now, not just speculation or theories. Administration officials are acknowledging the risks posed by allowing unvetted individuals to cross the border.”

Turner highlighted the issue of inadequate vetting and an open southern border that enables illegal migration and release into the country with only a notice to appear at a later date.

“The administration is letting individuals in without proper vetting, despite the potential risks they pose to the United States,” Turner explained. “This puts Americans in danger, as individuals with ties to terrorist groups are entering the country illegally.”

The House Intelligence Committee is pushing for accountability and transparency regarding these security flaws.

“The administration needs to declassify information on terrorist threats to facilitate public discussion and awareness of the risks posed by their policies,” Turner emphasized. “We have been vocal about the threat and are holding the administration responsible for their actions.”
