Fred Fleitz Tells Newsmax: Biden Has Put US in ‘Dire Risk’ With Border Situation
According to Fred Fleitz, a National Security Council chief of staff under former President Donald Trump, President Joe Biden’s border policies have endangered national security by allowing an estimated 11 million people to enter the United States during his administration. Fleitz mentioned that among these individuals, an unknown number are suspected terrorists.
“An estimated 11 million illegal aliens have crossed the border during the Biden administration,” Fleitz stated during an interview on Newsmax’s “Sunday Agenda.” “Of those, 1.6 million were able to avoid detection.”
Recently, eight suspects from Tajikistan with suspected ISIS ties who crossed the U.S. southern border in 2023 were arrested. Fleitz highlighted that it only took four terrorists to carry out a deadly attack at a Moscow concert hall in March.
With 1.6 million migrants escaping detection, Fleitz expressed concerns about the potential infiltration of terrorists, criminals, and foreign intelligence officers from countries like China, Cuba, Iran, and North Korea into the United States.
According to Fleitz, Biden has failed in his duty to safeguard the United States from foreign threats, and the consequences of this failure are becoming evident. The increasing number of immigrants is also contributing to a rise in crime, as law enforcement lacks the necessary records for background checks.
In his closing remarks, Fleitz emphasized the importance of thorough vetting processes for individuals seeking entry into the country to prevent security risks.
