Iconic Actor Donald Sutherland Known for Hunger Games and Kelly’s Heroes Passes Away | Entertainment News



Donald Sutherland, known for his roles in films like The Hunger Games and Kelly’s Heroes, has passed away at the age of 88.

The actor also appeared in MASH and earned an Emmy for his role in Citizen X.

His son, actor Kiefer Sutherland, announced the news on X, saying: “With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away.

“I believe he was one of the most significant actors in the history of film. He never shied away from any role, whether good, bad, or ugly. He truly loved his craft, and his dedication to his work was unmatched. He lived a well-rounded life.”

According to Deadline, Sutherland passed away in Miami on Thursday after battling a long illness.
