Biggs Defeats Trump-backed Candidate to Secure GOP Nomination for House Seat in South Carolina
Sheri Biggs, a nurse practitioner and Air National Guard officer, emerged victorious in the Republican primary for the U.S. House seat in South Carolina’s 3rd District on Tuesday. She defeated a candidate who identified as the former President Donald Trump’s pastor. Biggs will now advance to the November election as the Republican nominee.
