No matter what, US Citizens cannot be held hostage

Joe Biden’s debate performance last week is widely considered “catastrophic.”

Even the president himself has acknowledged to donors that he nearly fell asleep on the stage.

His performance might have been improved if he had actually taken a nap.

However, amidst the focus on Biden’s poor showing, not enough attention has been given to the fact that Donald Trump had a good evening.

Trump followed the advice of allowing Biden to speak, a stark contrast to the first debate in the 2020 election where Trump constantly interrupted Biden.

Trump displayed discipline during the debate, allowing Biden to speak and watching as Biden struggled.

Trump’s skills

Trump employed several skillful tactics, including avoiding excessive nastiness.

He only took one direct shot at Biden during a surreal golf swing argument, showcasing restraint.

One memorable line by Trump was, “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said either.”

This likely hit home for Biden, but Trump refrained from further similar attacks.

Instead, Trump maintained a more quizzical demeanor towards Biden, allowing the audience to see Biden’s struggles.

This strategic restraint by Trump highlighted Biden’s weaknesses without coming across as a bully.

Following the debate, the Democrats are left in a difficult position with Biden as their candidate.

Nap time’s over

With revelations about Biden’s mental alertness and schedule, it is clear that he is unfit to lead the country.

A small island nation might survive with a leader who works limited hours, but not a superpower like the United States.

The upcoming debate, whether Biden or another candidate, presents challenges for the Democrats.

Trump still has significant issues to capitalize on, particularly regarding border security and national respect.

Highlighting the issue of American hostages, similar to Reagan’s approach in the 1980 election, could be a winning strategy for Trump.

He could demand the release of all hostages held by countries like Iran, Russia, and Qatar, emphasizing the need for respect through strength.

It is time for America to regain its force and respect on the global stage.
