Biden’s physician confirms president’s health is not affected by Parkinson’s, undergoes routine neurological check-ups, according to US News
Joe Biden’s doctor has confirmed that the president has shown no symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, following reports that a specialist had visited him multiple times in the past year.
Concerns about Mr. Biden’s health have increased since his poor performance in a debate with Donald Trump.
Democrats criticized his performance as a “disaster”, “a meltdown”, and “a slow-motion car crash”.
Despite visits by a neurologist specializing in movement disorders, White House logs show that Mr. Biden’s personal doctor, Kevin O’Connor, stated in a letter that the president had not seen a neurologist outside of his annual physical examinations.
The letter also mentioned that Dr. Cannard, as a Neurology Consultant to the White House, has treated various individuals at the White House Medical Clinic in support of White House operations.

Other White House officials have confirmed that the president had seen a neurologist three times in connection to his annual physical exams.

US Representative Adam Smith called on Mr. Biden to drop out of the presidential race in an interview with CNN, following concerns about his health raised by political allies like Nancy Pelosi.
In a letter to Democrats in Congress, President Biden reaffirmed his commitment to his re-election campaign and vowed to stay in the race against Trump.
Republican candidate Donald Trump expressed his belief that President Biden would continue in the White House race, citing his ego as a reason for not quitting.
