Less than 50% of NATO Countries Achieve 2 Percent Guideline
In a pledge to push all NATO members, House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., is advocating for countries to allocate at least 2% of their GDP towards defense. However, as of last year, less than half of the alliance’s member states had met this target.
