Biden’s Cabinet Is Failing to Fulfill its Duty of Removing Him Due to Cowardice
Recent reports suggest that President Biden’s ability to govern is in question. This concerns Americans and poses a threat to national security.
The 25th Amendment of the US Constitution provides a solution for such situations.
Currently, the Vice President Kamala Harris and Attorney General Merrick Garland are defying their oath to uphold the Constitution by covering up the president’s condition. This puts the nation’s security at risk and undermines democracy.
According to the 25th Amendment, a president who is unable to fulfill their duties can either transfer authority to the vice president voluntarily or be removed at the vice president’s instigation.
Despite calls from top Democratic Party members for Biden to drop out of the race, he remains the nominee. However, the primary concern is not the party’s fate in the upcoming election but Biden’s inability to lead the country at present.
Section 4 of the 25th Amendment allows for the removal of an incapable president. It involves the vice president and majority of the Cabinet declaring the president unfit to serve, leading to the vice president assuming the role of Acting President.
If the president disputes this claim, Congress can decide on the matter with a two-thirds vote. However, this process relies on individuals who prioritize the country’s well-being over partisan interests.
The current Attorney General, Merrick Garland, failed to act on reports of Biden mishandling classified documents, even though it indicated his incapacity to stand trial. This demonstrates a lack of commitment to the Constitution and the country’s best interests.
After Biden’s concerning debate performance, there have been calls for Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove him from office. However, Harris is also covering up the president’s condition, ignoring the urgent need for action.
The history of presidential disabilities being concealed by insiders highlights the importance of the 25th Amendment in addressing such crises.
It is crucial for those in power, like Harris and Garland, to fulfill their constitutional duty and prioritize the nation’s interests over personal affiliations.
The Biden administration’s reluctance to acknowledge the president’s incapacity is a disservice to the country and a violation of the Constitution.
Americans must demand accountability from senior officials to ensure the proper implementation of the 25th Amendment in times of crisis.
