Kamala Harris praises Joe Biden’s unprecedented legacy of achievement, stating it is unmatched | US News
According to Kamala Harris, Joe Biden’s legacy of accomplishment is unparalleled in modern history.
In her first public appearance since entering the race for the White House, Ms. Harris praised Mr. Biden for exceeding the legacies of most presidents who have served two terms in office.
“I can personally attest that Joe Biden fights for the American people every day, and we are extremely grateful for his service to this nation,” she said.
The US vice president made these remarks a day after Mr. Biden announced his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race and endorsed his vice president.
In the meantime, in a post on X, she expressed her determination to win the election in November.
She stated: “It’s our campaign’s first full day, so I will be heading to Wilmington, DE later to greet our staff at headquarters.
“One day down, 105 to go. Together, we will emerge victorious.”
Ms. Harris, aged 59, is currently the only declared Democratic candidate for the party’s nomination as opposed to 78-year-old Republican Donald Trump.
She has been working to secure endorsements from the majority of delegates, and if she clinches the nomination, she will need to choose a running mate.
