The Topic: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Speech to Congress

During his impassioned address to a joint session of Congress, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that the Israel-Hamas conflict is not a clash of civilizations, but a clash between “barbarism and civilization” (“Netanyahu Spells Out the Truth,” Editorial, July 25).

Netanyahu’s proposal for an “Abraham Alliance” to strengthen the successful Abraham Accords established during the Trump administration is rational.

However, Democratic Party members who appease Iran see Netanyahu as a Churchillian figure to be crucified, much like former President Donald Trump.

Netanyahu’s speech at Congress moved all who listened with its strong leadership.

Regrettably, individuals like Rep. Rashida Tlaib and others who boycotted the event (“Protests greet Netanyahu,” July 25) displayed close-mindedness due to their extreme political views. They refused to acknowledge the truth about the events of Oct. 7, conflicting with their narrative. Such “representatives” should not be allowed to represent the American people.
