Newsmax: Israel on the Brink of War Following Deadly Hezbollah Attack, Hassan-Nahoum Warns
Israel is facing a serious threat of war with Hezbollah as tensions rise after a rocket attack on July 27 that tragically killed 12 children in the Golan Heights.
Deputy Mayor Fleur Hassan-Nahoum of Jerusalem spoke on Newsmax, stating, “We’re on the brink of a very dangerous war.”
She recounted the events since October 8 when Hezbollah began launching missiles, resulting in the deaths of many innocent civilians. She highlighted the recent attack on Majdal Shams, a village where 12 children playing soccer were killed by a missile.
Hassan-Nahoum refuted Hezbollah’s denial of responsibility for the attack and emphasized the need for a response. She expressed disbelief at the excuses provided and stressed the emotional impact of losing innocent children.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also promised severe retaliation against Hezbollah, vowing to take action in response to the attack.
