The Biden Administration is shocked by widespread migrant fraud but still plans to allow them entry

It’s no surprise that the Biden administration has stopped a program that flew migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to the United States due to discovery of widespread fraud by the applicants.

Did anyone really think there wouldn’t be fraud in this unauthorized program that violates existing laws?

Despite the obvious risk of fraud, President Biden and border czar Kamala Harris allowed nearly half a million migrants to be flown in since October 2022.

After a review by DHS’s Citizenship and Immigration Services revealed fraudulent information in tens of thousands of applications from migrants’ “sponsors,” the program has been suspended.

It is evident that migrants would resort to fraud after enduring dangerous journeys and criminal activities to reach the U.S.

Even their asylum claims have been proven to be false, with migrants openly stating they are seeking economic opportunities in America, not fleeing persecution.

While CIS has documented widespread fraud, Homeland Security plans to resume the program with better safeguards in place to prevent further fraud.

However, the rush to restart the program raises questions about why a flawed, illegal program must continue to allow people to bypass legal pathways and overwhelm cities.

If the Biden administration truly believes these individuals deserve to be in the U.S., they should work with lawmakers to establish a legal pathway instead of resorting to questionable programs.

Their persistence in restarting this program is just another reason why they should be replaced.
