Hospitality Union Backs Harris over Trump, Rejecting Tax-Free Tip Proposal
UNITE HERE, the union representing hospitality workers, has officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president. This endorsement comes in response to Republican Donald Trump’s pledge to eliminate taxes on tips for restaurant and hotel employees in an apparent attempt to appeal to this demographic.
