Austin from the Pentagon Caught Off Guard by 9/11 Plea Deals
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin expressed his surprise when the Defense Department’s convening authority made a plea deal with three top 9/11 terrorists last week.
According to Pentagon deputy spokeswoman Sabrina Singh, Austin and his team were not informed about the plea deal beforehand.
