Kamala Harris avoids Elon Musk (and all media) as her silence speaks volumes

Elon Musk had a two-hour chat with Donald Trump on X Monday night, causing Kamala Harris’ campaign to react dramatically, claiming that Musk was somehow trying to “control our democracy” by simply having a conversation with one of the major presidential candidates?

Interestingly, Musk also extended the same offer to Harris herself. 

She has yet to accept the invitation. 

It’s puzzling; if she and her team are so worried about the threat Trump poses to democracy, why not take up the offer?

A conversation with Musk would provide an opportunity to communicate directly with a wide-ranging audience and potentially influence some opinions. 

However, the “unfiltered” nature of the conversation presents a challenge for Harris. 

It’s no secret that without a teleprompter, she struggles just like her current boss. 

And she can’t even use the excuse of aging – she’s supposed to embody youthful energy! 

This doesn’t stop the disjointed statements. The sudden changes in position. The awkward laughter. 

Her apparent inability to function without scripted talking points is likely why her campaign has avoided any significant media interviews since her nomination – for over three weeks now. 

Additionally, less than three months before the election, the Democratic candidate remains vague about her policy platform. 

She won’t even participate in live interviews to formally retract her support for banning fracking or funding violent protesters: Her team simply announces these changes, avoiding any tough questions about her previous stances, the reasons for the shifts, and the possibility of reverting back post-election.

The media, for the most part, isn’t pushing for answers on these issues. 

Mainstream publications like The New York Times seem determined to ensure her victory (thus providing her with mostly favorable coverage). 

Despite the lack of accountability from the press, Musk can be sure that Harris won’t accept his invitation.

Would she even agree to an unscripted interview with a friendly journalist? (Considering she has many to choose from.) 

Anything beyond Hey everyone, I’m not Donald Trump, is so extreme that it would shock the American public.

And it seems like she intends to keep those views hidden until it’s too late.
